
Postgraduate Course in Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology

The International Plant Biotechnology Outreach (IPBO) is organizing a distance learning postgraduate course Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology at Ghent University (Belgium) for the academic year 2016-2017. The international learning course will train scientists and law specialists in biosafety expertise and evaluation both at governmental and industrial level. The course combines distance learning with on campus training at Ghent University and offers a solid basis to assist in the legislation and interpretation of biosafety risk assessment, risk management and communication to policymakers or the public.
Applications for the academic year 2016-2017 are open till August 31, 2017. For more information about the course, visit the IPBO website or contact Sylvie.Debuck@vib-ugent.be.
