The Conference on Agricultural R&D in Africa with the theme Investing in Africa's Fuiture: Analyzing Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities will be held on December 5-7, 2011 in Accra, Ghana. The forum through the Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators will focus on 1) Levels and stability of agricultural R&D investments; 2) Human resource development of agricultural R&D; 3) Aligning and rationalizing institutional structures; and 4) Measuring and improving the effectiveness of R&D Systems.
