South Asia Biosafety Conference

The Center for Environmental Risk Assessment (CERA), ILSI Research Foundation, Washington and Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) under the aegis of SABP are organizing "South Asia Biosafety Conference" from September 18-19, 2013 at New Delhi, India. Additionally, there will be two half day workshops on "The Scientist as Public Communicator" and "Understanding Test Protocols - Design, Reporting and Data Interpretation" for selected scientists held in conjunction with the conference on September 20, 2013. The purpose of the two day conference on September 18-19, 2013 is to share current scientific knowledge on biosafety issues related to GE crops. Leading international experts from regulatory agencies in the USA, Australia, Canada, Europe, Brazil etc., and from industry and public sector research institutions will speak at this conference and share their experiences.
