FARA, IITA to Work Together on Agricultural Research

The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) have pledged to deepen their institutional relationship to generate scientific innovations and create positive impact at farm levels.
Upon his new appointment, FARA's Executive Director Dr. Yemi Akinbamijo has visited IITA to call for greater collaboration with the Ibadan-based research institute which aims to boost the agriculture sector in the continent. IITA's Director General Dr. Nteranya Sanginga, on the other hand, has commited in behalf of IITA to partner with FARA to fast track agricultural research that will make positive impacts on food production.
