E-learning Module on Guidelines for Confined Field Trials of GE Plants
August 22, 2013 |
The South Asia Biosafety Programme (SABP) and the Biotech Consortium India Ltd. (BCIL) have prepared an e-learning module on "Guidelines & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Confined Field Trials of Regulated, Genetically Engineered (GE) Plants". This module is expected to be a useful tool for Trial-in-Charges and all those engaged in the conduct of confined field trials, members of the various committees at centre and state levels associated with approval and/or monitoring of confined field trials, scientists from public and private sector engaged in research on GM crops, and other interested stakeholders including students. This is a trial run and stakeholders can go through the course and provide their inputs electronically at cft@biotech.co.in. The module can be accessed at http://cft.biotech.co.in/.
