Turkey to Collaborate with Pakistan on Agricultural Research and Education

The Turkish government has expressed its interest in exploring avenues of cooperation in the field of agriculture research and in education of Pakistan. A delegation from the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) visited the office of the Farmers Associates Pakistan to discuss possible cooperation in capacity building of farmers. 

Both sides agreed on the need for mutual cooperation and coordination to develop and implement a focused and effective program. The agriculture value chain is hoped to be improved through highly skilled human resource to assure increased productivity. A system for learning experiences on modern methods of farm productivity for farmers and personnel of agri-businesses is also projected.
