EC-JRC Announces Six New Plant Summary Notifications for Environmental Release

The European Commission – Joint Research Center has recently announced six new plant summary notifications in its website. The Notifications were from Spain, Poland and Romania. The notifications for biotech cotton, linola, and corn are as follows:
1. Field trial of glyphosate tolerant cotton (GB614) on the adventitious and ruderal flora and arthropods by the Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria, Spain
2. Field trial of genetically modified glyphosate tolerant cotton (GB614) and the conventional cotton by the Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria, Spain
3. Improvement of the agrotechnical productivity of transgenic flax for industrial use by Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Poland
4. Notification for the deliberate release of genetically modified DAS-Ø15Ø7-1xMON-ØØ6Ø3-6 maize for the use in field trials, Pioneer Hi-Bred Seeds Agro SRL, Romania
5. Notification for the deliberate release of of genetically modified MON ØØ6Ø3 × MON ØØ8Ø1-6 maize for the use in field trials, Pioneer Hi-Bred Seeds Agro SRL, Romania
6. Notification for the deliberate release of NK603 maize for the use in field trials, Romania
