Syngenta Expands Omaha Crop Protection Plant

Syngenta recently expanded their Omaha Crop Protection plant adding a 43,000-square-foot unit that costs $22 million. This expansion will increase production of their products that aid growers control weeds, insects, and diseases. Randy Schomers, plant manager at the Omaha location, said that: "We are dedicated to improving crop productivity around the world to help ensure food security and bring plant potential to life through innovation."

Syngenta invests $2 million a day in research and development of new products with the aim of improving the quality of crop production and protecting the environment at the same time.
