First Biotech Park in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that land has been allotted to set-up a Biotechnology Park in Lahore, Pakistan. He spoke during a national biotechnology exhibition and seminar organized by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences' (UVAS) Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The government's support for biotechnology initiatives is expected to improve research and development in the field.
