Dhaka Symposium on Biosafety and Regulatory Issues

BRAC University, a noted private university in Bangladesh, in collaboration with the ICGEB and a number of national and international sponsors will organize the International Symposium on Safety and Regulatory Issues in Commercialization of Biotechnology Research in Developing Countries from December 2-4, 2008. The venue of the Symposium is in the Incepta Complex in Dhaka which is the site of a leading pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. A good number of internationally reputed scientists will participate and present papers on technology transfer, intellectual property rights, biosafety, regulatory aspects and bioethics.
