
Workshop on Biotech in Animal Feeds and Feeding

The National Workshop on the Status and Perspective of Biotechnology in Animal Feeds and Feeding organized under the auspices of the Animal Nutrition Association will be held on March 11-12, 2008 at the Centre of Advanced Studies in Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar, India. Nutrigenomics, biotechnological approaches to develop food-feed crops, genetic improvement of plants for feed application, safety and nutritive potential of genetically modified feeds, prospective of prebiotics and probiotics on gut microflora vis-a-vis health and disease, nutraceuticals and feed enzymes, biotechnological tools for ameliorating mycotoxins and other incriminating factors in feeds are some of the areas which will be discussed.
