Pakistan Media, Other Stakeholders Briefed on Crop Technologies

The Pakistan Biotechnology Information Center (PABIC) in collaboration with the Department of Botany and Date Palm Research Institute, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur conducted a half-day seminar entitled Agri-biodiversity: Role of Pollinators on September 26, 2019.
Dr. Ameer Ahmed Mirbahar, Director of Date Palm Research Institute delivered the welcome address to the participants. In his speech, Dr. Ameer emphasized the the importance of adopting new agri-biotech technologies to increase the crop production in Pakistan. During the open forum, young farmers and students asked various questions regarding GM crop area and cultivation in Pakistan.
