Global Conference on Agricultural Research to Tackle International Partnerships
Uruguay will host the Second Global Conference on Agricultural Research for Development (GCARD II) on October 29-November 1. GCARD II will tackle strategies that will lead to the implementation of the identified tasks in the GCARD roadmap, with further focus on partnership for innovation and impact for small-holder livelihoods.
The conference is organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization-based Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) in collaboration with the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and Agropolis International. GCARD II is expected to be a platform to open international partnership opportunities for researches and development of programs that will have substantive impacts for sustainable agriculture.
