Book on Systematic Protocols for Gene Synthesis

The Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech (VBI) launched a book that provides comprehensive and step-by-step methods and protocols spanning all aspects of de novo synthesis of DNA molecules. The publication which is the first of its kind, was edited by Dr. Jean Peccoud, an associate professor and head of Synthetic Biology Research Group at VBI. Titled Gene Synthesis: Methods and Protocols, the book is an essential guide for life scientists interested in using emerging recombinant DNA technologies for their research.
