EFSA Draft Technical Report on Risk Assessment of GMO

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has made available online its technical report on the Outcome of the public consultation on the draft Scientific Opinion of the Scientific Panel on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) on the risk assessment of GMOs and their food and feed products.
The report provides updated guidance for the preparation and presentation of applications involving GM microorganisms. It summarizes relevant comments received through the consultation and outlines who these were taken into account in the final guidance.
