Pioneer and Int'l Federation of Agri Journalists Announce Global Journalism Project

Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business, and the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) collaborated to sponsor the Master Class Initiative, which will bring agricultural journalists coming from Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa to a comprehensive training on global agriculture and communication developments.
"High-quality information is key to increasing the amount of food available to feed the growing global population," said Paul E. Schickler, President of Pioneer Hi-Bred. "Knowledgeable agriculture journalists can help ensure that farmers, policy makers, and, ultimately, consumers, are able to make the informed decisions needed to improve food security."
AgriTerra, an agricultural development agency will coordinate the program of the workshop which will be conducted in 14-18 September 2011 in Ontario, Canada.
