A 31-page publication entitled Crop Biotech and Biosafety has just been published by the Project Coordinating and Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Environment and Forest ,and the International Service for the Acquisiition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA). The publication discusses, among others, crop biotechnology, development of transgenic plants, Bt crops, regulatory framework for biotech crops, and Bt cotton and the Indian scenario.
