Drought Screening Workshop in India

The Barwale Foundation, a nonprofit organization in India, will hold a training program on Drought Screening and Double Heploidy at the Barwale Knowledge and Study Center, Biotech Park, Jalna on July 21-23, 2010. Topics on drought screening will include screening methods, resistant traits, and resistance breeding. Areas for discussion on double haploidy include tissue culture, anther culture, and application in plant breeding.
