World Environment Day Celebration, Rwanda

The global celebration of the World Environment Day will be held on June 5, with the theme Many Species, One Planet, One Future. Rwanda, a country of exceptional diversity will be the global host conducting the keynote events which will be attended by Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle and UNEP Executive Director Achim Steiner. Worldwide activities are planned that will include beach clean-ups, concerts, exhibits, film festivals, community events among others.
