Breeding for Resistance to Whitefly-Transmitted Viruses

University of Florida invites interested participants to attend their workshop entitled "Breeding for Resistance to Whitefly-transmitted Viruses" to be held at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Walt Disney Resort, Orlando, Florida on 22-23 of July 2009. The workshop aims to address the difficulties involved in developing resistance to whitefly-transmitted viruses such as Begomoviruses and Criniviruses which emerged as major constraints in vegetable production around the world.
