The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics' (ICRISAT) Center of Excellence in Genomics (CEG), supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, announces its first training course entitled "Molecular Marker Applications in Crop Genetics and Breeding". This will be held 31 March-11 April 2008 at the ICRISAT campus at Patancheru, Greater Hyderabad, India. The course will focus on the experimental design and data analysis components of molecular markers, rather than the actual marker data generation technology.
