
IPBO Announces Postgraduate Course Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology

The Institute of Plant Biotechnology Outreach (IPBO) in Ghent University, Belgium, is organizing a postgraduate course "Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology" through distance learning for the academic year 2014-2015. This international e-learning course is aimed at training scientists and law specialists in biosafety expertise and evaluation. The course combines distance learning with on campus training at Ghent University and offers a solid basis to assist in the legislation and interpretation of biosafety risk assessment, risk management and communication to policymakers or the public.
