
Pakistan and Argentina to Collaborate on Material Science and Biotechnology

Islamabad Ambassador of Argentina Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia, called on Federal Minister of Science and Technology Zahid Hamid and discussed new avenues of cooperation in the field of science and technology, health and agriculture sector. Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, Federal Secretary for Science and Technology was also present during the meeting. They agreed to hold a workshop to discuss possible research collaborations in the field of biotechnology. material science as well as in oceanography.
The Ambassador stated that his government would fully support and facilitate the Pakistani scientists in these collaborations and other endeavors related to science and technology. The Minister appreciated the Ambassador's pronouncements saying that the contacts between the governments would be increased to strengthen the science relations in the field of biotechnology.
