In the Opening Message "Away from prejudice, Move towards science", Prof. Zhu Zhen, Vice President of CSBT, Leader of PSCAB, Former Director of Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the website aims to build bridges between scientists and media. Its long-term goals are changing the harsh public opinion environment of GM and is becoming an agri-biotech information exchange platform in China. The columns of the website include Headlines, Viewpoint, Video, Database, and Rumor and Truth. Experts and scientists from the 5 societies will answer questions from the public via the website.
