
TERI-ITEC Course: Applications of Biotech and its Regulation

The second course "Applications of biotechnology and its regulation" is being offered by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC)/ Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme (SCAAP) from 13 to 31 August 2012 at Gurgaon, India. Under the program, eight courses are being offered for the year 2012-13. These include integrated approach towards sustainable development, applications of biotechnology and its regulation, designing and implementing solar energy based livelihood projects for rural communities, climate change and sustainability, decentralized energy solutions-planning and implementation, trade and sustainable development, resource security and governance issues, challenges and opportunities, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Each individual course is a three-week long residential programme attended by participants from other developing countries. The courses are designed to meet the needs of senior and mid-level government and non-government officials from ITEC/SCAAP countries.
