Tripura-based ICAR Releases List of Improved Crop Varieties

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Research Complex for NEH Region in Tripura, India formally released a list of improved crop varieties as recommended by Tripura State Seed Sub Committee and the government of Tripura. The formal release was ceremonially headed by the governor of the state of Tripura, Dr. D.Y. Patil. The improved crops include varieties of rice, field pea, toira, and eggplant.
