Pakistan and Iran Sign MOU

Pakistan and Iran have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote bilateral agricultural trade between the two countries. The agreement was made during the 4th meeting of Pakistan-Iran Joint Working Group (JWG) on Agricultural Cooperation held at the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC).

Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, PARC Chairman, led discussions related to trade and development of agricultural products, implementation of plant quarantine agreement, the establishment of required plant quarantine offices, plant protection and other areas of mutual interest in the fields of agriculture and livestock.
