Consumer Information and Agro-biotechnology: The Experience of Malaysia

Latifah Amin at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and colleagues published a paper on the Malaysian experience on GM food consumer information issue which includes research efforts to general public acceptance and further proposing willingness to pay research as functional tools to capture the consumer preference on GM food. The paper also proposes assessment of GM as indicator of consumer preference and also suggests possible Malaysian consumer reaction on GM food which may serve as model for developing countries.
