Pakistanis Join EMHBGEN

Drs. Anwar Nasim and Abid Azhar are now members of the Steering Committee of Eastern Mediterranean Health Genomics and Biotechnology Network (EMHBGEN). The EMHBGEN is a global network of senior scientist and researchers that engage in the development of policies and establish priorities for research.
Besides two Pakistani scientists, others elected to the Steering Committee include scientists from Shahid Beheshti, University of Iran; Pasteur Institute of Iran; Medicine-Kuwait University; Pasteur Institute of Morocco Casablanca, Morocco, and Salmaniya Medical Complex, Manama, Bahrain.
