ICAR's Vision 2030
February 4, 2011 |
India's union Minister for Agriculture Mr. Sharad Pawar unveiled Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) ‘Vision-2030' document during 82nd Annual General Meeting of the ICAR Society. The document presents strategies to overcome the challenges and tap the opportunities by harnessing science and new technologies at national level. ICAR gives highest priority to farmers so the document is based on ‘farmer first' strategy. The document elaborates on the ICAR's mission to transform the existing national agricultural research system into a vibrant national agricultural innovation system.
