USDA Grants for Research, Extension and Education

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announces the availability of approximately $262 million in research funds for research, extension and education through the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) to address key societal challenges. These include applications to increase global food availability through increased sustainable food production; and applications to achieve the long-term outcome of mitigating and adapting to climate change in agriculture and forestry.
