July 3, 2009

A report of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service on Adoption of Genetically Engineered Crops in the U.S. showed that farmers widely adopted the technology since 1996. Soybeans and cotton genetically engineered with herbicide-tolerant traits were top choices followed by insect-resistant cotton and corn.
