Biotechnology Havana 2008 will be held on November 30 to December 5, 2008 at Havana, Cuba. This convention organized by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Havana, Cuba will be devoted to agricultural biotechnology with symposia topics as: Aquatic biotechnology; Modern biotechnologies for animal health; Animals as bioreactors and biomodels; Biosafety in genetic modified organisms (GMO) and bioproducts; Molecular plant pathogens interaction; Probiotics and Prebiotics: active ingredients of functional foods; Control of crop pests with biotechnology tools; Plant Made Pharmaceuticals; and Ag-Biotechnology business opportunities.
