
Retaking the Field: Strengthening the Science of Farm and Food Production

A new collaborative report titled Retaking the Field: Strengthening the Science of Farm and Food Production was released highlighting the latest advances and innovative research on animal and plant sciences from eleven universities and the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation. The report is part of SoAR's broader education and advocacy to encourage additional federal support for food and agricultural research. The report includes researches on reducing allergens in peanuts, beating the blast fungus, improving rice and wheat production, and finding resistance in crop pests' saliva.
