
New Grant Program Available for Planting Research

Precision Planting, a leader in planting and seed placement issues, has announced a new Research Grant Program that is designed to offer incentives to anyone willing and capable of doing independent research on seed environment and placement issues pertinent to the agriculture industry. Precision Planting will award project funding in increments of $1,000 up to $10,000 per project based on available funds.
Funding will be provided based on the research being performed as outlined in the application. Half of the funding will be furnished upon the awarding of the grant and half at the completion of the study. Applications and instructions are available online at http://www.precisionplanting.com, and will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Reviews will start April 1, 2010. Application deadline for 2010 projects is April 15, 2010. Applications can be sent to: Precision Planting, Research Grant Program, 23207 Townline Road, Tremont, IL 61568.
