Second Mandate for CIRAD Leader

The Centre de Cooperation Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Developpement (CIRAD), France has given another mandate to Gérard Matheron as Director General following the recent cabinet meeting. This came up after three years of internal level restructuring, the establishment of collegial scientific management structure and the completion of the establishment of research units. CIRAD has also contributed in many national and international initiatives. This second mandate will mark the operational version of the scientific and geographical partnership strategy that include its international operations and the firming up of national consortium for agriculture, food, animal health and the environment.
