
Hands-on Gene Technology Workshop in Australia

The Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization (CSIRO) and Agrifood Awareness Australia Limited will be conducting a hands-on technology workshop in Esperance and Geraldton Western Australia on April 20 to 21, 2009 and April 22 to 23 April, 2009, respectively. The gene technology workshops are a two-day educational opportunity – allowing participants to gain a basic understanding of the laboratory techniques that underpin gene technology. The trainings will include DNA and gene isolation, gene transfer, as well as formal lectures including case studies.
