DuPont New Maize Research Center Opens in Mexico

DuPont recently announced the opening of a new maize research center in Mexico to accelerate seed product development and help increase farm productivity in northern Mexico. It will be the fourth crop genetics research facility Pioneer, a subsidiary of DuPont, operates in the country. The center will be focusing on developing superior maize hybrids specifically suited for the northwest and northeast Mexico markets.
“This new research center will help us deliver even more advanced genetics and technologies more quickly and help meet the growing demand for food, feed, fuel and materials,” said William S. Niebur, vice president -- DuPont Crop Genetics Research and Development.
