
GM Notifications in Europe

Notifications on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified crops in Europe for non-commercial use have been posted online. For March, these include:
- Syngenta’s (MIR604, GA21, Bt11) and Monsanto’s (MON 88017, MON 89034 × MON 88017, NK603) insect resistant maize varieties in Romania
- Herbicide tolerant maize DP-9814-6 (Pioneer Hi-Bred) in Czech Republic
- Bt-maize with ECB and WCR resistance genes on non-target organisms (RWTH Aachen) in Germany
- Glyphosate tolerant H7-1 sugarbeet in Spain
