Updated Infographics on the Contributions of Biotech Crops to Food Security, Sustainability, and Climate Change Solutions Now Available

ISAAA Inc. has released an updated infographic highlighting the contributions of biotech crops to food security, sustainability, and climate change solutions. First released in 2024, the infographic was updated in September 2026 with the latest findings from Graham Brookes' study, "Genetically Modified (GM) Crop Use 1996-2024: Farm Income and Production Impacts," published in GM Crops & Food, along with data from ISAAA Brief No. 57: Global Status of Commercialized Biotech/GM Crops in 2024.
The infographic provides an overview of how biotech crops have contributed to agricultural productivity and resource conservation while supporting farmers and addressing environmental and food-security challenges. It brings together key data on farm income, pesticide and fuel use, greenhouse gas emissions, land conservation, and the number of farmers and people benefiting from biotech crop adoption.
