
BIOTROP Calls for Research Proposals

The SEAMEO BIOTROP is one of the 15 centers under Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization based in Indonesia whose mission is to support biodiversity conversation and to support sustainable development. To this end, the organization is accepting research proposals for funding of up to IDR 40 million/proposal or US$ 15,000/proposal. Proposals from Indonesian lecturers, researchers or PhD students in the areas of: 1) biofuel, 2) biodiversity conversation and sustainable development, and 3) biotechnology are accepted.
The deadline for submission is January 19, 2008 and can be submitted by email to research@biotrop.org. More details available at http://www.biotrop.org/files/Research%202008.pdf.
