Training Programme on Emerging Issues in Agricultural Policy Research

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will hold a 7-day training programme for scientists of ICAR institutes on "Emerging Issues in Agricultural Policy Research" in New Delhi, India on March 19-25, 2015. The training program aims to sensitize and expose the participants to emerging agricultural issues, and to improve understanding of the emerging issues in agricultural policy research. With the increasing importance of agricultural policy research, there is a greater need for capacity strengthening of the researchers and other concerned stakeholders in NARS in this area. The training will provide knowledge and insight to the participants on various facets of agricultural economics and policy research.
