CGIAR Presents its Research Programs to Donors, External Stakeholders

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) has presented its research programs during a meeting with donors and external stakeholders in Montpellier, France from June 17-28, 2013. Representatives from all the programs were present outlining details of their work and plans for moving towards setting up targets and gauging impacts.
CGIAR adopted a Strategic Results Framework in 2011 that defined its four system-level outcomes: reducing rural poverty, increasing food security, improving nutrition and health, and the sustainable management of natural resources. According to CGIAR, the ongoing process of shaping development outcomes guiding the consortium's research work and tracking progress in delivering results are well under way.
