A National Symposium on Abiotic and Biotic Stress Management in Vegetable Crops is being organized by the Indian Society of Vegetable Science in collaboration with Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) on 12-14 April 2013, at IIVR, India. The symposium will feature broad thematic areas, among which include enhancement and management of genetic resources; stress responses and mechanisms; breeding for stress tolerance; mapping and marker assisted breeding; functional genomics of stress tolerance; genetic modifications for stress tolerance; and diagnostics and ecology of pest and diseases.
