GMO Testing Key to Food Ingredient Labeling and Seed Quality

A distribution agreement between Romer Labs® and SDIX™ has been signed which gives the former exclusive global distribution rights outside of Brazil to distribute SDIX™ GMO test strip products such as SDIX's TraitChek® and SeedChek®.
The kits are used to determine the presence or absence of genetic traits in genetically-modified seed products which are marketed alongside conventional varieties. TraitChek® tests enable rapid testing in 3 to 5 minutes GMO seed grains at elevators and terminals. SeedChek® tests and ELISA plates are used to rapidly test seed lots for quality control requirements and leaf tissue in the field in 3 to 5 minutes.
