EFSA Oks GM Cotton

The Genetically Modified Organism Panel of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has released its scientific opinion regarding Dow AgroSciences' application for its genetically modified cotton 281-24-236 x 3006-210-23. It concluded that the variety is as safe as its conventional counterpart and is unlikely to have any adverse effect on human and animal health and the environment in the context of its intended uses.
