African Union Scientific Awards for Women

The Ministries of Science and Technology in Member States announce the African Union Scientific Regional Awards for Women 2010. The awards aim to celebrate the achievements of African scientists and build a science culture. A prize will be awarded to each of the following scientific sectors (a) Life and Earth Sciences; and (b) Basic Science, Technology and Innovation. Life Sciences include agro‐technology, animal science, plant science, biotechnology, biology, environmental sciences, and food sciences. Deadline for application forms is July 14, 2010.
