Practical Course on 'Genomic Approaches to Evolution and Development'

December 18, 2009

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) will hold a practical course on 'Genomic approaches to evolution and development'  from 7 to 11 February 2010 in Heidelberg, Germany. The main objective of the course is to provide experimental training in state-of-the-art genomic techniques to students and postdocs. This course will focus on the experimental aspects of obtaining data on gene regulatory networks (GRNs) and will provide an overview of the computational methods required to analyze these data. All participants will gain hands-on experience with performing chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments and next-generation sequencing.

The deadline of registration is on 1 January 2010.  For further information, visit http://www.embl.de/training/courses_conferences/course/2010/EVO10-01/index.html
