97th Indian Science Congress

The 97th meeting of the Indian Science Congress will be held on January 3-7, 2010 at Thiruvananthapuram, India. The theme of the 97th Congress is ‘Science and Technology Challenges of the 21st Century – National Perspective'. The meeting is being jointly organized by Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata; Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. Several plenary sessions are organized around various facets of the focal theme in which scientists and technologists as well as policy makers and administrators will interact with one another. A huge gathering of scientists will discuss and deliberate on a wide spectrum of national issues that have scientific and technological implications. The Indian Science Congress is the largest national science event to address the challenges in frontier science and for cutting edge technologies for the future.
