Livestock Biotechnology Center, in partnership with ISAAA Inc., conducts the 8th International Livestock Biotechnology Symposium on February 13, 2025 at 8:30 AM GMT+8.
The event, with the theme Demand-driven BIOTECH Innovations Towards a Resilient and Sustainable Animal Industry, aims to bring together leading experts, researchers, and stakeholders from around the world to tackle demand-driven biotechnological innovations with emphasis on scientifically sound and market-responsive solutions. By aligning biotechnological advancements with the needs and preferences of consumers, producers, and policymakers, the symposium seeks to foster a resilient and sustainable animal industry.
The symposium covers the following topics:
- emerging biotech solutions for livestock and poultry production;
- global regulatory landscape for animal biotech products; and
- animal biotechnology status and regulation in the Philippines
ISAAA Executive Director Dr. Rhodora Romero-Aldemita and LBC Chief Dr. Marvin Villanueva serve as moderators of the discussions.
